Robotics

At our 2021 ARL National Championship, our team brought home a Top-Ranked Award, a 1st place Inspire Award, a 1st place Control Award, and a 2nd place Think Award. We are so proud of our national champions and look forward to competing next season. Go Gators!

Here at NPAA, we have our robotics team. Our team #18457, the GatorBytes, participates in the FIRST Tech Challenge LA Region League and the FIRST Tech Challenge Adventist Robotics League. This year the team will be competing in the FTC ULTIMATE GOAL season.

In the FIRST Tech Challenge, students utilize STEM to build and program a robot to complete a field-based challenge. Each year the challenge will change, and thus will the robot will be built for each challenge.  Teams are required to develop a strategy and build robots based on sound engineering principles. Awards are given for the competition as well as for community outreach, design, accomplishments.
