Newbury Park Adventist Academy has rich heritage in its alumni. For seventy years the school has been sent its students to all parts of the globe. Some of our students are forth-generation NPAA attendees. All told the school has nearly 5,000 alumni scattered throughout the country and around the world.
As you can see, Newbury Park Adventist Academy is on the move. “I am doing a new thing,” is not just a motto, it’s a reality. Committed leadership, teachers, students and community are all coming together to claim God’s promise of renewal.
The school’s physical plant is changing, too – the new gymnasium floor, new school windows, new sidewalks, fresh paint, a new NPAA entrance sign… Over the coming months the gym will get new bathrooms, the dorms will be renovated, the library will begin to be modernized, and many other projects will proceed.
“This is a new era for the school,” explains Steve Laing, Principle of NPAA. “We’re moving forward with open minds and hearts as we follow God’s leading. Others are coming forward. Doors are opening right before our eyes. We are preparing our youth to help finish the work of the gospel, and shaping NPAA to His standards.”
“We are especially asking our alumni to make Newbury Park Academy a matter of prayer and consideration,” explains Laing. “In fact”, he says “we see our alumni as a pivotal resource to help shape our future. Please share with us, your thoughts, concerns or suggestions? And consider joining the Circle of 100 and help empower and guide us as we move forward.”
